Training Objectives & Activities

   • Fill in a Case Report for Amber’s Big Jump! (writing, critical thinking and reflection activity using the Case Report form)
   • Uses website 💻 or printable 📝 and book 📖
4. I notice things inside and around me!
   • Look for clues in Amber’s Case (activity sheet)
   • Uses book 📖 and printable 📝
5. I want to be a Thought Detective!
   • Practice the Thought Detectives Pledge (writing and tracing activity sheet)
   • Uses printable 📝

Training Booklets

• Training Booklets are available to print for each activity set. (Activity info is listed online too.)
• Print one sided on one sheet of paper.
• Folding Instructions
• Find them in each activity bundle or on each activity page (add set and number to the end of our url – ex: thoughtdetectives.org/set1).
• If printing in black and white, printing on color paper would be a nice touch. (Blue, green, pink or yellow are Thought Detectives Colors.)

Training Patches

• Each Training Activity has a Training Patch.
• Kids earn the patch by doing the associated activity.
• Please give them out only after the activity has been completed.
• Find them in each activity bundle or on each activity page (add set and number to the end of our url – ex: thoughtdetectives.org/set1).

Certificates

• Each activity set has a certificate.
• Certificates are on the back page of each Training Booklet.
• After all 5 activities in the set are completed, kids can put the date on the Certificate to show they have completed it.
• Keeping the certificates can help kids see what they have learned.

Activity Sheets

• Each Activity Sheet is label with it’s set number and activity number (Ex: Activity Sheet 1.2 is from set 1 activity 2).
• To find Activity Sheets, go to the activity page and get the Printable Bundle. Find links to activity pages here or add the set number to the end of our url (Ex: thoughtdetectives.org/set1).
